Michael Kors celebrated the 30th anniversary of his collection this season and to complement the designs, Shiseido Artistic Director Dick Page created a “clean and natural” look backstage. Mr. Page blended Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color in Sable (BR709) on the Models’ upper and lower lash line and applied Shiseido Perfect Mascara Defining Volume in Black (BK901) to the upper lashes. Depending on the Models’ hair color, he used Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio in Voyage (BR209), Strata (BR307) or Fire (OR302) to create a well-defined brow as the key feature of the face. Completing the look, lips were kept soft and muted with Shiseido Perfect Rouge Lipstick in Dune (BE310).
MARC BY MARC JACOBS
Shiseido Artistic Director Dick Page kept the look simple and naturally bright backstage at Marc by Marc Jacobs. With a base of only Shiseido Future Solution LX Total Regenerating Cream, Models’ cheeks were the accented feature─custom-mixed from a palette of Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Color in Petal (RD103), Orchid (RD401), Carnation (PK304) and Tea Rose (RS302). Mr. Page then highlighted cheekbones with a combination of Shiseido Satin Face Color in High Beam White (WT905) and Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Color in Soft Beam Gold (BE206), to which he personally applied to every Model himself─with a smile.
IVANAhelsinki
Nordic Designer IVANAhelsinki partnered with fellow Nordic fragrance brand Kristiansand New York to create a scent for its Fall 2011 collection. drom Fragrance’s Perfumer Pierre-Constantin Gueros created the fragrance that combines the essences of Norway and New York City, a perfect match for a Nordic designer’s NYC fashion show.
JASON WU
Odile Gilbert, Lead Hair Stylist for Aveda, created an ethereal chic and sleek look to accent Jason Wu’s collection beginning with Aveda Smooth Infusion™ Glossing Straightener and Aveda Brilliant™ Retexturizing Gel. Hair was then pulled back into a low ponytail and twisted up the Models’ head. The final touch was accenting hair with brushed 24-karat gold leaf, creating a gilded feathery effect and then misting the completed look with Aveda Brilliant™ Spray-On Shine.
CYNTHIA STEFFE
Evoking a sense of eternal youth at Cynthia Steffe, Jose Rivera, Sephora Pro Beauty Team Makeup Lead, gave each Model a runway look with a dewy glow and bold lips to walk down the runway with that were created using Kat Von D Painted Love Lipstick in Homegirl and Sephora Collection Shimmer Harmony Gloss Palette then lined lips with Sephora Collection Nano Lip Liner in 09 Pleasant Plum.
CHARLOTTE RONSON

Gilbert Soliz creates the look of rock n’ roll grunge for Annabelle Dexter-Jones at Charlotte Ronson, who modeled in her sister's collection.
The edgy raw appeal of a Rock Star was the inspiration behind the makeup look backstage at Charlotte Ronson. The look was created by the Sephora Pro Beauty Team led by Gilbert Soliz, who used lip liner on the eyes for an easier blend. The eye was created with Make Up Forever Aqua Eye in Pearly Brown 2L on the lids and followed by Sephora Collection Nano Lip Liner in 11 Beau Bordeaux and Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Waterproof Lipliner Pencil in Chocolate Brown 6C.

Dashing Diva kept nails neutral at the American Express CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund show, using the shade Chelsea in the Buff from The Manhattan Collection, to flatter a range of over 60 looks from Designers including Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung and Derek Lam.
ELIE TAHARI
To enhance the Models’ nails (the ones whose hands weren’t covered by gloves!) going down the runway, Dashing Diva was backstage at Elie Tahari to coat tips with Trust Fund from The Manhattan Collection, followed by a top coat of Make-It Matte.
L.A.M.B
Gwen Stefani assembled her clothing designs for her Fall 2011 L.A.M.B collection into six distinct ‘gangs’ of girls─Ragga Muffin Girl, London Girl, Buffalo Girl, Mod Girl, Soldier Girl and Glamour Girl─ and to complement these different groupings, Dashing Diva polished Models’ nails with Limo Service from The Manhattan Collection.
BLANC DE CHINE
The elegant hair by ARROJO Lead Hair Stylist Amanda Jenkins framed the face created by Aveda Makeup Lead Janelle Geason, which featured eyes swept with Aveda Petal Essence™ Eye Color Trio in Emerald and Aveda Nourish-Mint™ Mineral Sheer Lip Color in Opal applied to the lips, both are new shades launching this Fall.
WILDFOX
Lead Makeup Artist Robin Schoen for Urban Decay found inspiration in 1960’s icons such as Marianne Faithfull and Twiggy. Ms. Schoen created dark, cat-like eyes with Urban Decay Zero 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil then lengthened lashes with Urban Decay Vamp Urban Lash False Lashes and Urban Decay Urban Lash False Lash Mascara.
EDUN
For Fall 2011, EDUN Founder Ali Hewson wanted the makeup to reflect a strong woman’s signature style─in a look that could be worn no matter the occasion. To create the face, Sephora PRO Beauty Team Lead Makeup Artist Jose Rivera used Sephora Collection Nano Eyeliner in 10 Kaki Green. Rosebud Perfume Co. Rosebud Salve was placed over the eyelids as well as the lips for a natural glowing effect.
TONI FRANCESC
Mehron’s Lead Makeup Artist Jackie Mgido took inspiration from the Phoenix, the mythical bird that is a symbol of rebirth and immortality─for Toni Francesc’s latest collection. Luxuriously long Mehron E.Y.E Lashes in Feather created a wing-like effect as the Mehron L.I.P. Color Cream produced a rich red lip.
